This set is a perfect companion to the RN set #1 that we reviewed previously. Like the #1 set this one is custom tailored to fit the Airfix kits of the Victorious, Devonshire, Tiger, Fearless, Leander, Amazon, and Daring. There are enough parts in this fret to do a number of those kits. This one includes all the railings and safety nets as well as helo details to accent your kit.

The instructions are two pages, one side identifies the parts on the fret and the second side shows the assembly views and where the parts go.

  • Straight flight deck safety net sections for the Leander, Amazon, and Victorious. 
  • Curved flight deck safety net sections for the Devonshire.
  • Large side flight deck nets for the Devonshire.

Conclusions: This is an excellent photo etch set like the companion set #1, the etching is extremely fine and what few parts were left out in set one are included in this one. If you are going to build one of those 1/600 British Warships, I recommend you get both sets.
