Not too much complicated about what this set provides.  There are eleven rows of doors with each row being unique.  Provided for each door is a door frame and then the option for the inside door detail (open) or the closed door details.  For most of the doors there is also a right and left hinging side.  Thus although each row is different it ultimately narrows down the selection to seven different door types.

The photo etch is made from very thin brass and is relief etched.  The parts are very delicate so you will especially want to handle the door frames with care.

INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions indicate that it is too hard to represent the many sometimes unique doors that can be found on the various German warships but the set is designed to be a good cross section of types.

Conclusions:

This generic set will be useful for any 1/350 surface German WWII warship. This will be an important set as some of these details will be missing on some bulkheads or will be of poor detail.  Arrival of this photo etch is in enough time for the release of Trumpeters 1/350 Prinz Eugen. Highly recommend this set to add super detail to your build. Also released with this set is four others in 1/350 that go well with this set #3572 German Deck Details, #3573 German Reels , #3574 German Port Holes and #3575 German Vent Covers.
