This set has been around as long as waterline carriers. But many modelers
are unaware of it's existence. It includes aircraft for an early war air
wing. The aircraft in the set are:

| Sadly there is no TBD Devastator, but you can get one of those from Pit-road or White Ensign Models in resin. The aircraft are adequate for this scale, my set has quite a bit of flash that will have to be cleaned away. But the aircraft do look like the prototypes. They could benefit from one of the many Photo Etch sets on the market today to enhance their appearance. | |
| There is a decal set included that has early and late style markings
for the aircraft. Price for this set runs about $6.00 and it is still around
at many hobby shops and mail order suppliers.
