| Production sets of the new Enterprise Elevators (GMM
No. 350-2A) arrived today and we are now ready to take orders and ship
them out. The elevators are exact matches for the plastic parts and are
complete with tie down rings and reinforcing strips plus the extended solid
plated areas on Elevator No. 2 as shown in various prototype reference
photos. These brass platforms feature perforated see-through gridwork that
is unique to the Enterprise's elevators and will replace the solid plastic
parts in the Tamiya kit. Sheet plastic styrene can be used to add underside
side panels as required by using the plastic parts as guides - or the existing
side panels can be carefully cut off the plastic elevators and transferred
to the brass versions if preferred. This large set is etched in heavy-duty
.010" sheet brass and retails for $30.00 USD plus postage. The stock number
is 350-2A. Availability now.
