1/720 Scale US SuperCarrier Fitting set
by Gold Medal models
There are a number of different 1/720 USN Aircraft Carriers on the market today. Each one has a lot of potential, but are just a little lacking in the details. This set addresses those shortcoming, and will allow you to super detail your carrier. There are parts in this set for all of the USN carriers from the Forrestal and beehive style Enterprise to the latest Nimitz class carriers.

What really makes this set stand out are the excellent instructions. Loren Perry has done a great job of showing where the parts go on each style and era of carrier. There are eight different styles of radar mast alone to chose from and each is noted with carrier that used it and the time frame is was used. No need to guess about where the railings or flight deck nets go, there are diagrams showing each one. Profile drawings are included for the Forrestal class, Kitty Hawk class, Enterprise, America, and Nimitz class.
Included in the set:
  • Several different styles of railings
  • Inclined stairs and ladders, including flight deck ladders
  • anchors and boat detail parts
  • Radar masts for CV-63 & CV64 (1961-82)
