THE FRETS
There are two photo-etch frets included, which Starling has listed as "parts".   Part 1 includes such items as alternate bridge wing supports for RN ships, alternate aerial supports, bridge front, funnel aerial supports, MF/DR aerial, engine house hatches, photo-etch name plates and a Canadian Maple Leaf, for those wishing to model Royal Canadian Navy Flowers.    Part 2 has netting for the railings, porthole covers, deck scuttle covers, a deck for the bridge and a Captains chair.

Everything looks good, with some nice relief etched detail.   I was especially impressed with the nameplates.

INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions are on a double sided piece of paper.  On the front side, you'll find a parts list as well as a small photo of the frets, while the instructions - and few photos - are on the back side.  The instructions are pretty basic, but should be sufficient to do the job.
CONCLUSIONS
The 1/144 Revell Flower Class Corvette is quite familiar to most ship modelers, and often seen on the contest tables at model shows.   This set - when used in conjunction with the Eduard sets for the Snowberry - should help any modeler turn this venerable kit into a show stopper.

This is Starling Models Flower Class Detail Set. The set retails for £10, which is currently about $13.30 USD, and is available from Starling Models. Thanks to Starling Models for the review sample.   Recommended.
