INTRODUCTION

This deck set from Wood Hunter is for the Trumpeter 1/700 USS North Carolina BB-55, issued in 2006. The light-color wood decks are approximately .008"/.2mm thick, with regular planks and other deck details laser etched into the woodm and an adhesive applied to the back. A light tracing with a hobby knife is all that is necessary to free the parts.

North Carolina appearance changed many times during the war, and she only sported bare wood decks in 1941 while painted in Measure 1, and in her current status as a museum ship. For a correct wartime look, these decks will need to be painted or stained, appropriate to the timeframe and camouflage measure selected.
