The White Ensign 1/144 4" deck gun is an replacement for the 3" deck gun in the Trumpeter kit, to turn your 1/144 Gato into a Balao. This gun was also used on some pre-war submarine types, some destroyers, and other vessels.

This set includes a white metal gun and pedestal, and photoetched seats and brackets. The only real problem with this gun is with the breech; the casting sprue attaches at the rear of the gun, and there are tool marks and a sprue stub where the breech should be.
