Starfighter Decals has released a set of decals in 1/500 for some of the classic US Navy Cold War Cruiser kits by Monogram, Renwal and Revell, set 500-101 USN Cold War Cruisers
THE DECAL SHEET
There is one 8 1/2 by 3 inch decal sheet in this set, with decals for these ships, and more:

Revell USS Boston
Revell USS Long Beach
Renwal CLG/DLGs

The decals include shaded (in two sizes) and un-shaded (also in two sizes) hull numbers - for fore and aft - missile warning circles, missile elevator markings, heli-pad markings and ship names.   The decals are very high quality - thin and well printed

Close ups of some of the decal sheet details.
INSTRUCTIONS
There are no instructions, per se.   What you have on the back side of the packaging insert is a brief description of the enclosed markings and a sample plan view of an Albany-class CG hull, showing decal placement.   It's enough to show you where to place the decals.
CONCLUSIONS
This set is a great idea, and a really cool set of decals, especially for those folks who love to build those "nostalgia" kits.   By themselves, these would improve those old 1/500 kits.   Throw in the recommended photo-etch and perhaps some 3D printed parts, and you can turn that "nostalgia-build" in a show piece.

This is Starfighter Decals set 500-101, USN Cold War Cruisers 1955-1994.  It retails for $12.00, and is available from Starfighter Decals.  Thanks to Starfighter Decals for the review sample.   Highly Recommended.
