These 16" guns were intended as an improvement to the reliable British 15"/42 for installation in the cancelled G3 Battlecruisers. That design was reborn as the HMS Nelson and Rodney, and these guns went on to duel the dreaded Bismarck.

These barrels are intended for either of the venerable Tamiya 1/700 HMS Rodney or Nelson, where they are a dramtic improvement over the old plastic barrels.
