THE PARTS
The set has a lot of parts in it.   It includes 46 barrels:  4 turned aluminum barrels for the 12in main armament, 10 turned brass barrels for the 9.2 inch secondary guns, plus 32 turned brass barrels for the smaller QF guns.   Also included are two runners, each containing replacement resin parts to attach the metal barrels to the insides of the turrets - one for the 12 inch guns, one for the 9.2 inch guns.

Overall, the quality is very good, save on one of the aluminum 12in barrels, which has is a burr where the barrels connects to the resin part that will sit inside the turret.   It shouldn't be hard to clean up, but this is the first time I've seen any imperfection in any of the Master Barrel sets I've reviewed.

INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions are on both sides of a small piece of paper, which show a drawing of the types of barrels included in the set, along with visual and textual instructions on how to install them on resin parts and then attach the completed assembly inside the turrets.

CONCLUSIONS
These barrels are very nice, and will add a nice touch to your HobbyBoss Lord Nelson.   There are a lot of barrels in this set, so be prepared to spend some time cutting and replacing barrels.  As with the armament set for the USS Alaska/Guam, I imagine it be will time consuming to cut resin replacement parts off the runners, clean them up, then bore out the holes so those parts will fit inside the turret.  But the result should be worth it in the end.

This is Master Models set SM-350-105, HMS Lord Nelson Armament Barrels. The set retails for $20.99 and is available from many of our fine sponsors.  That seems to be a great deal, considering just how many barrels are in the set.  Highly recommended. Thanks to Master Model for the review sample.
