Flyhawk has released a set of metal barrels to enhance their 1/700 HMS Prince of Wales (FH1117), set FH710034, "The metal gun for King George V class battleship".  The set contains 26 brass barrels - 10 barrels for the main 14" armament and 16 barrels for the 5.25 inch secondary guns.   Each set of barrels comes in its own small plastic bag, securely attached to the packaging's cardboard insert.

These barrels are nicely machined and have open muzzles.   There is a pin machined into the 'breach' end of the barrel to help facilitate installation.

Same comments as above but on a smaller scale - there are open muzzles and a pin to help for installation.
INSTRUCTIONS
There are no instructions included, as you simply replace plastic barrels with the metal versions.
CONCLUSIONS
These barrels are made for Flyhawk's King George V class kits (further ships have been announced after Prince of Wales).   The parts are finely machined, with open muzzles on the barrels.   While the kits plastic barrels look nice, these will look even better.   The 5.25 in barrels are quite fine, be careful when handling them, lest you sacrifice any of them to the carpet monster.

This is Flyhawk set FH710034, the brass barrel upgrade set for their King George V class kits. They retail for around $18.00.  Thanks to Flyhawk for the review sample.   Recommended.
