Flyhawk has released a wood deck sheet for their 1/700 May 1941 version of the HMS Prince of Wales (FH1153), set FH710051, HMS Prince of Wales 1941.5 Wooden Deck.  The set contains one 6.5 x 4" sheet of pre-cut wooden "deck sheet" for the follow up release of Prince of Wales, in May 1941.

The Masking Seal

The pre-cut deck sheet is very thin, so care should be used when removing it from the larger sheet.   This is self adhesive, and the backing will have to be peeled off before applying it to your Prince of Wales

There are six parts - the forward half the main deck, the aft half of the main deck, and four smaller parts the complete the deck around the hangar and catapult.   The locations of the vents, hatches and bollards are all cut out.

INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are are located on the back of the packaging insert.   They are very simple and self explanatory.
CONCLUSIONS
This deck sheet is made specifically for Flyhawk's basic Prince of Wales May 1941 kit (FH1153).  The sheet is sharply cut, and easy to remove from the larger sheet.  These wood decks are also very thin, and you should be careful when removing them from the backing and placing them on the model.  For those modelers who like to add wood decks to their models, this is an excellent looking set, and should enhance your Battle of the Denmark Strait Prince of Wales nicely.

This is Flyhawk set FH710051, the wooden deck for their May 1941 Prince of Wales kit. It retails for around $38.00.  Thanks to Flyhawk for the review sample.   Highly recommended.
