Dunagain Decals
1/700 US Navy Flags and Pennants
1931-1959
If you have ever wanted to add a little color to your ship, you might consider dressing it out with a set of Pennants. It's one way to add a little color to those bleak MS-21 paint jobs and really call attention to your ship. Add a few to communicate the ships status or a complete set for dressing out on National Holidays. I am amazed at the sharpness of the decals especially considering this is 1/700 scale. The colors are all perfectly registered and you can even count the 48 stars on the US flag!
These decals are printed on a single sheet so they must be carefully cut from the sheet and trimmed as close as possible. I would recommend applying them to a sheet of foil so they can be folded realistically to simulate the wind blown effect.

The instructions consist of tips for handling the decals and applying them. Also included is an explanation of the meaning for each of the flags, as well as some basic instructions on different combinations of flags that might be used.
These decals are currently available from Pacific Front Hobbies, Naval Base Hobbies, Colpar Hobbies, and White Ensign Models. They are also available from Toms Modelworks on a special order basis.
