Black Cat Models from France continues to produce new 3D printed accessories.   One of their latest is sets is AC350193, "Dan Buoys".  Dan Buoys are inflatable life-saving devices used in emergency situations, according to an internet search.  In the event of a man overboard, it can be easily deployed, and serve as a maker buoy. These are especially important in areas where visibility may be limited.  A further internet search only provided a few images of dan buoys, being serviced by Royal Navy minesweeper crews in 1943.
THE CABLE REELS
The packaging is a plastic clamshell container, with the 3D printed raft containing the dan buoys secured to the bottom of the packaging with thick double sided tape, which prevents the raft from moving during shipping.

There are 23 dan buoys in the package, in two different styles: 5 triple and 18 single buoys.  These are cleanly printed.  They are also pretty vanilla looking items, so don't expect loads of detail.

Close ups of some of the parts details.

INSTRUCTIONS
There are no instructions in the box, and this product is so new that is does not yet have a page on the Black Cat Models website.
CONCLUSIONS
These Dan buoys are a neat little item, definitely off the beaten path. While there isn't any real detail, they are cleanly printed. You'll have to find which ships carried them, and how and where they were stowed, but they look like they'd add some interesting detail to your models.

This is Black Cat Models set AC350193 Dan Buoys (X23).  They retail for approximately $6.67 USD, are available directly from Black Cat Models, who I'd like to thank for the review sample.
