Black Cat Models has sent along some samples of their latest 1/350 US Army vehicles.  Included were the following vehicles:
  • Stuart M5 Light Tank - AC350177b
  • Ford M8 Greyhound - AC350179a
  • M3A1 Half Track uncovered - AC350180a
  • DUKW Canvas covered and trailer - AC350181b
  • Dodge W52 short body - AC350183a
  • GMC CCKW 353 truck hard top - AC350184b

The packaging is in Black Cat's typical plastic clamshell container.

STUART M5 LIGHT TANK - AC350177b  $8.70 USD
There are four M5 Stuarts in the package.  The hulls and turrets are printed separately.
FORD M8 GREYHOUD - AC350179a  $8.70 USD
There are four M8 Greyhounds in the package.  The hulls and turrets are printed separately.  Two of the turrets have the raised ring with the machine gun on it, two omit this.
M3A1 HALF TRACK UNCOVERED - AC350180a  $8.70
There are four M3A1 Half Tracks in the package.  Four rings with .50 cal machine guns mounted on them are provided for you to use.
DUKW CANVAS COVERED AND TRAILER - AC350181b  $8.70
A pair of DUKW - and their trailers - are in the package.  The DUKW and the trailers are printed separately.  I really like the way the canvas covers look on these vehicles.
DODGE W52 SHORT BODY - AC350183a  $7.55USD
There are four Dodge trucks in the package.  Two are covered, two are open.
GMC CCKW 353 TRUCK, CANVAS TOP - AC350184b -  $9.75
The package says that four GMC trucks come in the package - two enclosed and two open.  My sample actually had two print rafts and five trucks in the package - two covered and three open.

INSTRUCTIONS

There are no instructions included, nor needed.  The parts are easily removed from the print rafts.  In fact, some of them came off when I was removing them from the package to photograph.
CONCLUSIONS
These vehicles are, as the saying goes, "cute as a bugs ear".  They are small, but have super fine details on them.  There is tread on the tires, detail on the tracks, tools, finely done grills and rails on the trucks, and very thin supports for the canvas covers on the uncovered GMC trucks.  For anyone wanting to trick out an LST, do a port diorama, or maybe even wargame, these assortment of US Army vehicles from World War II will come in handy.  Recommended.

These Black Cat Models vehicles retail from around $7.55 USD to $9.75 USD, depending on the vehicle, and are available directly from Black Cat Models, who I'd like to thank for the review samples.
