Black Cat Models has sent us some additional items to review.  Among the latest to arrive is set AC350099b, 35ft Fast Motor Boat (x2).   According to the website British Military Powerboat Team"The Admiralty 35ft Fast Motor Boats (FMBs), built in vast numbers, were the larger sisters to the 25ft FMBs that were used on destroyer sized warships, the 35ft FMBs being fitted out either as Aircraft Tenders or Admirals Barges for the larger warships of the fleet".

THE 44in SEARCHLIGHT
The packaging is the usual plastic clamshell container, with a single print raft containing the 3D printed parts attached to the bottom of the packaging with double sided tape.

There are two 35ft fast motor boats in the package.   Quality is up to what we've come to expect from Black Cat.   Some of the things that stand out are the rails and handles on top of the cabin, the two jackstaff, life rings and the windscreen braces - these are particularly petite.  There are also strakes on the hull and a rudder and prop.   There are some print lines visible in some of the photos, but they aren't nearly as noticeable to the naked eye, and will most likely disappear under a coat of paint.

Close ups of some of the parts details.

INSTRUCTIONS

There are no instructions in the box, but on the Black Cat Models website, on the product page, you'll find a link to a PDF on how to remove the printed supports that are part of the 3D printing process.

CONCLUSIONS
Another terrific accessory from Black Cat, this as part of their line of Royal Navy products.   These will be a nice upgrade to the kit supplied motorboats in your larger Royal Navy ship models.

This is Black Cat Models set AC350099b, 35ft Fast Motor Boat (x2).  They retail for about $9.40 USD, and are available directly from Black Cat Models,  who I'd like to thank for this review sample, or from some of our other fine sponsors.   Highly recommended.
