Black Cat Models has provided us with some items to review.  Among the latest to arrive is set AC350099d, Royal Navy 45ft Motor Launch (x2).  According to Black Cat, "These Royal Navy WWII boats equipt battleships, cruisers and some other units".

The packaging is the usual plastic clamshell container, with a single print rafts containing the 3D printed parts attached to the bottom of the packaging with double sided tape.

There are two 45ft Motor Launches in the package.   As we've seen with previous Black Cat releases, the boats are very well done.  There is some really nice detail on the interior of the launch, with thwarts, frames, planked decking and an engine (as befitting a motor launch).   The hull is thin enough that it's translucent when you hold it up to the light.  There are a rudder and prop on the lower portion of the hull too.

Close ups of some of the parts details.

There are no instructions in the box, but the packing directs you to the Black Cat Models website.   There, on a data page for the particular item, you will find a PDF on how to remove the printed supports that are part of the 3D printing process.

This is another really nice set of boats from Black Cat, as part of their line of Royal Navy products.   These will be a nice upgrade to the kit supplied boats on your Royal Navy ship models.

This is Black Cat Models set AC350099d, Royal Navy 45ft Motor Launch (x2). They retail for about $13.25 USD, and are available directly from Black Cat Models, who I'd like to thank for this review sample, or from some of our other fine sponsors.   Highly recommended.
