Black Cat Models from France continues to release new 3D printed products. This release is a set 3D printed Twin 20mm guns in 1/350, set AC350002b, "20mm Oerlikon Mk24 twin gun". With the increasing threat from Japanese Kamikazes during the later stages of World War II, many USN ships started shipping twin 20mm to increase their firepower. These were very common on late war Fletchers, like the USS The Sullivans, after her Kamikaze upgrade.
THE Twin 20mm GUNS
The packaging is a plastic clamshell container, with the 3D printed runner containing the 20mm guns secured to the bottom of the packaging with thick double sided tape. This prevents the runner from moving during shipping. As with earlier packages, I left the parts affixed to the tape, to avoid parts breakage.

There are 10 guns in the package. The detail on the guns, like previous releases from Black Cat Models, is excellent. Each 3D printed gun is a complete 20mm gun - with the pedestal, the two guns, gun shield, shoulder rests, catridge cases and a gun sight. Just paint, remove them from the 3D printed sprue, then install them on your model.

Close ups of some of the parts details.
INSTRUCTIONS
There are no instructions in the box, but the packing directs you to the Black Cat Models website. There, on a data page for the particular item, you will find instructions on how to remove the printed supports that are part of the 3D printing process.
CONCLUSIONS
These 3D printed twin 20mm guns are really nicely done. As with earlier releases, the print quality is first rate. There are great details, like the shoulder rests, cartridge cases and gun sights.

This is Black Cat Models set AC350003c, 20mm Oerlikon Mk24 twin gun. They retail for about $9.50 USD, and are available directly from Black Cat Models. Highly recommended.
