Among the latest releases from Black Cat Models of France is a set of USN quadruple torpedo tubes, 21in. quadruple torpedo tubes.  The quadruple torpedo tube was found on several classes of US destroyers, from the Farragut-class through the Sims-class.

The packaging is Black Cat's typical plastic clamshell container.   The 3D printed runners containing torpedo tubes, pedestals and torpedo directors are secured to the bottom of the packaging with double sided tape, which prevents the runner from moving during shipping.

There are two quadruple torpedo tubes, two pedestals and three torpedo directors in the package - each on it's own runner.   The detail, as with everything I've seen from Black Cat, is excellent.   The detail on the torpedo tubes includes the torpedo course indicator, firing mechanisms and stop mechanisms (yes, I had to look all this up to figure out what all this great detail was).  The inclusion of the torpedo directors is a nice touch as well.

INSTRUCTIONS
There are no instructions in the box, but the packing directs you to the Black Cat Models website.   There, on a data page for the particular item, you will find instructions on how to remove the printed supports that are part of the 3D printing process.
CONCLUSIONS
As with previously reviewed Black Cat products, the print quality is very good, the details are excellent.  The details on to the torpedo tubes is superb - these will look great on a finished model.   While there are no injection molded models of any of the "Goldplater" Destroyers available, these will certainly enhance the available resin kits on the market.

This is Black Cat Models set AC350029b, 21in. quadruple torpedo tubes.   The pair retails for about $11.50 USD, and are available directly from Black Cat Models or many of our fine sponsors.   Highly recommended.

Thanks to Black Cat Models for the review sample.
