Ray Bean is back with Volume 54 in his photo DVD line.
This one is just in time to help you detail your post war Essex class carrier.
It covers the Essex class from Korea to Vietnam actually from 1946 to 76.
There are over 340 images covering these post war carriers. All of the
Essex are included, some more than others. Straight deck and angled deck,
SCB 235S and 27C as well as other variations are all featured. The photos
include everything from overall views at sea to close up labeled views
of the various parts of the ship. Aircraft operations including a wide
variety of aircraft from the obscure AJ-1 Savage to the more common types
like the A-4 Skyhawk. The photos are labeled with notes that modelers and
historians alike can appreciate.

The images on the DVD are print quality and range in size from 168 kilobytes
to 3 plus megs and sizes typically around 3600 pixels wide. To view the
images just pop in the DVD and display them using your computers file browser
