This book is the six in a series of books covering some of the famous ships of war. This one covers the Battleship Nevada from beginning to her end.

The book includes quite a bit of history and photo's that show her prewar, early war, and late war. The historical text is more extensive than other books in this series that I have read. WWI, the inter war years, WW2, Pearl Harbor, reconstruction, and her revenge across the Pacific are all well covered.

The photo's are pretty good and most are pretty sharp.

Color profile renderings by Paul Bender show the ship in 1941 and 45. These are nicely done and slightly weathered for that realistic appearance

There are also charts and maps showing some of the Nevada's voyages. War damage charts are also included..

This 8-1/4" x 11" soft book has 92 pages and is a great resource for anyone who is interested in the Pennsylvania. This would be a great resource for anyone wanting to convert that Banner Arizona to a Pennsylvania. At only $12.95 US it is a great value to the modeler and warship enthusiast alike.

Special thanks to Trident for the review sample. Check out their website for other books in this series as well as a growing line of kits.
