Modelarstwo #38

Reviewed June 2016
by Timothy Dike
Polish Ship Modeling Magazine Modelarstwo issue number 38 has been out for a while, but is still available. This one features plans for the Pollaca type sailing ship from 1696 in 1/100 scale. Well drawn plans for the Italian protected cruiser "San Giorgio" from 1922 are included in 1/400 scale.

3D renderings and plans for the German 3.5 ton navy crane for the Scharnhorst and Admiral Hipper class make a handy reference. A nice graphic tutorial for building a fiberglass hull is included as well.

CONCLUSIONS

This magazine is yet another helpful resource for the ship modeler. The photos and plans offer something for all kinds of modelers. The illustrations are first class and having the plans is a big bonus!

While most of you probably don't read Polish, this well illustrated magazine is still a great value. The detailed drawings and illustrations are reason enough to subscribe or at least order back issues like this one.
