Modelarstwo #37

Here's a look at one of the older Polish Ship Modeling Magazine Modelarstwo issues. This one came out last year, but still features some great reference material. Lot's of nicely detailed ship photos and step by step build ups. The highlight for me at least are the nicely drawn plans and rendered 3D illustrations. These include  the Polish submarine (minelayer) ORP "WILK" drawn in 1/150 scale, and the Japanese Auxiliary Cruiser Asaka Maru in 1/400 scale.

The Russian radar system (AAA OSA-M) is covered in line drawings and 3D rendered views showing all sides. Also covered is the HMS Athene in 1/200 scale shown in her 1942 Admiralty Disruptive Light camouflage scheme.
CONCLUSIONS

Wonderfully illustrated this is a great reference for the modeler. I wish it was also published in English, but the  magazine is still a great value. If your building any of the subjects covered the plans will be a great value.

The detailed drawings and illustrations are reason enough to subscribe or at least order back issues like this one. Contact saga@modelarstwookretowe.pl for subscription details and receive a reply in english.
