HMS Hood in 3D

There are a number of HMS Hood kits in plastic and resin in several scales. Each has it's merits and issues. However all can benefit from this new Kagero 3D book by Stefan Draminski. Like the other books in the series, this one shows the ship in fully rendered views that range from traditional plan and elevation to close-up views in perspective. The views show many areas of the ship that don't show up in photos. Two large sheets with line drawings of the ship and weapons and fittings are also included. They are very well drawn and show the details from many angles.

Rigging is also shown in the views which should be a big help for the modeler.
CONCLUSIONS

Another stunning release from Kagero that should help you build your ship accurately. There are a lot of history books out there with plenty of images of the HMS Hood, but none more thoroughly document the ship like this one book. A must have for HMS Hood fans.

You can order this new book direct from the Publisher or from MMD Squadron or Casemate Publishing.
