Dreadnought in 3D

There are a number of HMS Dreadnought kits in plastic and resin in several scales. Each has it's merits and issues. However all can benefit from this new Kagero 3D book by Stefan Draminski. Like other books in the series this one features both renderings and line drawings of the ship. The plans show not only the plan and elevation views, but also a number of auxiliary views. Views that show the torpedo nets deployed should prove helpful to those have neglected to model this aspect of the ships defenses. The renderings show not only the common views, but also views showing off the normally unseen parts of the ship giving the reader a look that is not available in the photographic record. Also featured are the ships boats and fittings and fixtures used on the ship.

Another plus is the thorough rigging views shown from many different angles that should help with routing the rigging properly.
CONCLUSIONS

Another stunning release from Kagero that should help you build your ship accurately. The close-up views are an invaluable resource for the modeler. You can order this new book direct from the Publisher or from MMD Squadron or Casemate Publishing.
