When I was in the 4th grade I read a book about the US and Soviet Navy and have been interested in them ever since. I told myself that one thing I wanted to do was to see one of these ships up close. So I enlisted in the Navy and got the chance. I was stationed in the United Kingdom and got my chance to see two of my favorite now Russian ships. The Udaloy I Admiral Levchenko on July 1st 2005 at the Trafalgar Celebration, and the Udaloy II Admiral Chabanenko in August of last year at Navy Day in Devon.

I see that now there is a 1/350 model of the Udaloy I and with some kit bashing I'm sure someone could turn out a Udaloy II. I'm not sure if these pics can help anyone but I figured it would be cool to share them. I only wish I could have seen a Sovremenny as well!
