Wild Ferry Ride

On Thursday October 18th Western Washington was hit with a 50+ MPH wind storm. Here are a few photos of the Washington State Ferry Cathlamet taking a good pounding. These Issaquah class ferries are 328 feet long, 78 feet wide and weigh in at 2477 tons unloaded with 1200 passengers and up to 124 vehicles. A few cars are visible on the bow of the first two or three photos but not on the last one, no doubt pushed back by the waves.
