ModelWarships.com is a free site with no subscription cost. Our costs are offset slightly by the money or products receive by the manufacturers and suppliers that advertise on the front page. These our our sponsors and we encourage modelers to do business with them and show their support. We charge between $120.00 to $200.00 per year for front page banner space on our front page, payable in cash or equivalent product to review here. Click HERE for a sample of the layout for banner space. We also accept product samples to review on a monthly basis. Any ship related products are welcome whether kits, accessories of related services. I try to be clear on where the products come from so that our reader are aware of a possible bias. I don't restrict our reviews to products that have been submitted, as I will review any and all ship related items that I can get my hands on. We also accept reviews submitted by our readers, providing they have no connection to the products they review, unless it is made clear in the review. Also we can not accept reviews by manufacturers of their own products. If you have pictures of your own product then I ask that you instead submit it to the Gallery where a link will be provided if desired. If I have a connection with a product that I am reviewing I will disclose it in the article itself.
The Goal of ModelWarships is to provide the Ship modeler with a central location to access all the information that's available. There are many other websites out there that are geared to Ships, but few that give a complete picture of everything available. ModelWarships is going to try to do just that. We don't wish to replace any other sites, simply to supplement them.
We would encourage everyone to help us make this site successful by contributing pictures, reviews and providing feedback to help improve it. If you know of any sites that we have left off of the links section, please let us know by sending Timothy Dike an email.
We plan on writing reviews for all the Ships and accessories that we own and adding others as possible. Manufacturers that would like to have their products reviewed by ModelWarships can submit them by contacting the webmaster@modelwarships.com.
A Gallery has been added for readers to send in pictures of their creations. A message board is also available for posting Ship related announcements and questions.
